MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING OF LAKEWOOD CITY COUNCIL AUDITORIUM June 6, 2022 7:30 P.M. Regular Meeting of the Lakewood City Council called to order at 7:40 PM by President Litten Present: Kyle Baker, Thomas R. Bullock III, Sarah Kepple, John Litten, Tristan Rader, Jason Shachner Also Present: Mayor George, Finance Director Rancatore, Fire Chief Dunphy, Planning Director Leininger, Human Resources Director Dillinger, Public Works Director Ducu, Law Director Corrigan, Human Services Director Gelsomino, Chief of Staff John Storey, Clerk Bach & Deputy Clerk Lascu Motion by Vice President Litten, seconded by Councilmember Kepple to approve the minutes of the May 16, 2022 meeting without the necessity of a reading. All members voted in favor. Motion passed. Minutes approved. ****OLD BUSINESS**** Without objection, President Litten moved items 410, 411, 47, & 44 to the top of the agenda. 1. Committee of the Whole Report regarding meetings held May 23, May 31, and June 6, 2022. (to be provided) President Litten delivered the following oral report: Committee of the Whole did meet on May 23rd, May 31", and June 6''', today, to approve minutes from previous meetings and discuss the Ward 4 Council appointment. On May 23rd we interviewed Mary Brown, Marissa Clark, Ed Rand, Jason Frederick, and Ruth Gillett. On May 31s'' 1s', we interviewed Cindy Marx, Donna Taylor Kolis, Vinko Kovanovic, Dr. Kate Anderson Foley, and Mark Schneider. In our meeting this evening, we were primarily in Executive Session, but emerged from that session to amend Resolution 2022-18 to insert the name Cindy Marx into the blank. All members of the committee were present with some members of the administration, all the interviewees previously mentioned, and some member of the public. Motion by President Litten, seconded by Vice President Kepple to receive and file the oral 1
