9. RESOLUTION 2022-26 - A RESOLUTION to take effect immediately provided it <br /> receives the affirmative vote of at least two thirds of the members of Council or <br /> otherwise, to take effect and be in force after the earliest period allowed by law <br /> requesting the Cuyahoga County Fiscal Officer to draw and the Cuyahoga County <br /> Treasurer to pay to the City of Lakewood Director of Finance an advance of all real, <br /> personal property and special assessments collected in the year 2023 in such amounts as <br /> may be requested and available. (Referred to Finance 06106122) (pg. 9) <br /> 10. RESOLUTION 2022-27 - A RESOLUTION to take effect immediately provided it <br /> receives the affirmative vote of at least two thirds of the members of Council, or <br /> otherwise to take effect and be in force after the earliest period allowed by law, <br /> accepting the amounts and rates as determined by the Budget Commission and <br /> authorizing the necessary tax levies and certifying them to the County Fiscal Officer. <br /> (Referred to Finance 06106122) (pg. 11) <br /> Motion by President Litten, seconded by Vice President Kepple to adopt items 47 through 410. <br /> A roll call vote was taken as follows: <br /> Yeas —Baker, Bullock, Kepple, Litten, Marx, Rader, Shachner <br /> Nays —None <br /> Motion passed. Items 47 through 410 were adopted. <br /> 11. ORDINANCE 19-2022 - AN ORDINANCE to take effect immediately provided it <br /> receives the affirmative vote of at least five (5) members of Council, or otherwise to <br /> take effect and be in force after the earliest period allowed by law, amending Section <br /> 149.25 Paid Parental Leave and Childbirth Leave of the Lakewood Codified Ordinances <br /> to remove the eligibility requirement of twelve or more months of service with the City <br /> of Lakewood. (Ise read& referred to HHS 06106122) (pg. 13) <br /> Motion by President Litten, seconded by Vice President Kepple to defer Ordinance 19-2022. <br /> All in favor. Motion passed. <br /> 12. ORDINANCE 20-2022 - AN ORDINANCE to take effect immediately provided it <br /> receives the affirmative vote of at least two thirds of the members of Council, or <br /> otherwise to take effect and be in force at the earliest period allowed by law, amending <br /> Ordinance 41-2021 adopted December 20, 2021, authorizing the Mayor(Director of <br /> Public Safety), the Director of Public Works, the Director of Law, the Director of <br /> Finance, and/or the Purchasing Manager to enter into contracts for professional services, <br /> and to advertise for bids and enter into contracts for the purchase of repair maintenance <br /> and operating supplies, services and equipment as authorized by the 2022 Appropriation <br /> Ordinance and the Administrative Code of the City of Lakewood with the lowest and <br /> 4 <br />
