Barbara Balogh of Cranford expressed support for the resolutions. She shared the life-changing <br /> impact nfabortion onher life. She thanked Council for its representation. She expressed disgust <br /> about the Supreme Court decision. <br /> Nathan Lizanich of Robinwood Ave. expressed support for the resolution. He spoke about the <br /> current crisis iufoster care iowhich there are not enough homes for children and how the <br /> rcvcrmo| of Roe v. Wade will worsen this. He cczoazkod upon how shocking itisthat many <br />� <br /> abortion laws allow no exceptions for rape or for protection of a woman's life. <br />� <br /> Councilmembers thanked the public for speaking out and encouraged the public to vote for <br />� <br />� <br /> change. <br /> State Representative 8kjndcUspoke ofhis commitment toabortion rights over the years. f[c <br /> provided onupdate on}lB598, which iaototal abortion ban with noexceptions. Rcremarked <br /> that these sx1ronos 6i\|a need to get more public attention, as they are not in line with public <br /> opinion. <br /> Counoihncmber|0ul|ock called [bra state-wide ballot referendum as uway tomake progress and <br /> called noRepresentative Skiodol| for assistance. <br /> Councilmember Shachner encouraged the public to keep up the fight and provided hope that <br /> change can happen. <br /> Mayor George thanked Council for addressing this issue in a timely manner and to the public for <br /> coming out. She expressed dismay about the decision and its impact on future generations.
