MINUTES <br /> OF THE <br /> REGULAR MEETING <br /> OF <br /> LAKEWOOD CITY COUNCIL <br /> AUDITORIUM <br /> July 5, 2022 <br /> 7:30 P.M. <br /> Regular Meeting of the Lakewood City Council called to order at 7:35 PM by President Litten <br /> Present: Kyle Baker, Thomas R. Bullock III, Sarah Kepple (virtually), John Litten, Cindy Marx, <br /> Tristan Rader, Jason Shachner <br /> Also Present: Mayor George, Finance Director Rancatore, Police Chief Kaucheck, Fire Chief <br /> Dunphy, Planning Director Leininger, Human Resources Director Dillinger, Public Works <br /> Director Ducu, Law Director Corrigan, Human Services Director Gelsomino, Chief of Staff John <br /> Storey, Clerk Bach, & Deputy Clerk Lascu <br /> Motion by President Litten, seconded by Vice President Kepple to approve the minutes of the June <br /> 21, 2022 meeting without the necessity of a reading. All members voted in favor. Motion passed. <br /> Minutes approved. <br /> President Litten acknowledged that Vice President Kepple was joining the meeting virtually for <br /> health-related reasons. <br /> ****OLD BUSINESS**** <br /> 1. RESOLUTION 2022-22 - A RESOLUTION to take effect immediately provided it <br /> receives the affirmative vote of at least two thirds of the members of Council, or <br /> otherwise to take effect and be in force after the earliest period allowed by law, <br /> approving the appointment of Chad Berry to the position of Director of Human Services <br /> upon his or her taking the oath of office. (Referred to COW 06/06/22) (pg. 1) <br /> Motion by President Litten, seconded by Vice President Kepple to adopt Resolution 2022-22. <br /> All in favor. Motion passed. Resolution 2022-22 was adopted. <br /> 2. Oath of office ceremony for Chad Berry. <br /> 1 <br />
