Councilmember Shachner delivered the following communication: Dear Colleagues, On July 18'h, the Finance Committee will hold a hearing for members of Council and the public to discuss what they would like to see in Lakewood's upcoming budget with all of Lakewood's department heads. I expect every department will be represented either by their director or by representative so that this meeting may be as productive as possible. I ask all members of Council and respecfully ask the administration to do what you can to invite members of the public to this meeting. I see this as a brainstorming session. We have a schedule 6
