5. ORDINANCE 20-2022 - AN ORDINANCE to take effect immediately provided it <br /> receives the affirmative vote of at least two thirds of the members of Council to enact <br /> Section 135.17 Limitation on enforcement related to abortion care of the Codified <br /> Ordinances of the City of Lakewood, to protect residents of the City of Lakewood from <br /> interference by the State in their healthcare decisions. (I"read& referred to Finance <br /> 715122) (pg. 3) <br /> Motion by President Litten, seconded by Councilmember Bullock to defer Ordinance 20-2022. <br /> Public Comment <br /> James Kloos 3512 Tuttle Ave. Cleveland, OH Mr. Kloos spoke against abortion and <br /> bemoaned the lack of candidates seeking jobs in law enforcement. <br /> Ziggy Rein—11818 Southland Dr. Apt. 2 Mr. Rein expressed his opposition to Ordinance 20- <br /> 2022. <br /> Keith Davey 2131 Riverside Dr. Mr. Davey expressed his opposition to Ordinance 20-2022 <br /> and believed it to conflict with state law. <br /> Judy Knupp-Davey 2131 Riverside Dr. Ms. Knupp-Davey expressed her opposition to <br /> Ordinance 20-2022 and believed it to conflict with state law. <br /> Becky Machovec 2093 Mars Ave. Ms. Machovec expressed her support for Ordinance 20- <br /> 2022 and implored Council to adopt it immediately. <br /> Tom Taylor—1299 Donald Ave. Mr. Taylor expressed opposition to Ordinance 20-2022 and <br /> argued against abortion. <br /> Greg Miller—14300 Detroit Ave. Mr. Miller expressed opposition to Ordinance 20-2022 and <br /> questioned its potential conflict with state law. <br /> Timothy Gerrity— 1150 Stearns St. Brunswick, OH Mr. Gerrity expressed opposition to <br /> Ordinance 20-2022 and believed it to conflict with state law. <br /> Sheila Rock—14312 Detroit Ave. Ms. Rock expressed opposition to Ordinance 20-2022 and <br /> shared personal beliefs about abortion. <br /> Virginia Hanley Warren Rd. Ms. Hanley expressed relief at the overturning of Roe v. Wade <br /> and spoke against abortion. <br /> Julia Toke—1682 Park-wood Ave. Ms. Toke spoke against the overturning ofRoe v.
