(pg. 75) <br /> Motion by President Litten, seconded by Vice President Kepple to adopt Resolution 2022-61. <br /> Discussion: Councilmembers discussed the public input process with Director Leininger and <br /> soughtfurther details on the design and installation. <br /> On the motion: All in favor. Motion passed. Resolution 2022-61 was adopted. <br /> ...LIQUOR PERMITS... <br /> 26. Liquor Permit Notice—FP Mahalls LLC— 13200 Madison Ave. (pg. 77) <br /> Motion by President Litten, seconded by Vice President Kepple to file with no objection. <br /> ***PUBLIC COMMENT"" <br /> No public comment was made. President Litten noted that there were 6 eComments, all expressing <br /> support for the LGBTQ+ community in light of recent occurrences in Columbus, Ohio. <br /> ""ANNOUNCEMENTS"" <br /> Councilmember Rader commended the work of Vice President Kepple in sponsoring legislation <br /> last week condemning the acts of the state legislature and its actions negatively affecting <br /> LGBTQ+youth. He stated he also condemns the recent acts in Columbus in the strongest of <br /> terms. <br /> Vice President Kepple noted ongoing and increasing threats of violence against the LGBTQ <br /> community, Jewish community, and immigrants. She noted Council's previous resolution to <br /> persuade the state school board to not discriminate against children. She expressed hope that <br /> people can be reassured by this body's condemnation of acts violence, hate, or threats to any <br /> people. <br /> Mayor George also condemned the recent acts against the LGBTQ community and applaud Vice <br /> President Kepple's legislative action the previous meeting. In regard to public safety, the Mayor <br /> stated that the city's safety forces are constantly training and evaluating strategies to address the <br /> changing public safety dynamic. <br /> Councilmember Bullock sought further information on the timeline for councilmember proposals <br /> for ARPA funding uses. President Litten indicated his intent to have an application process <br /> similar to Cuyahoga County Council's. <br /> 9 <br />
