7.02 Any hours of duty in excess of eight (8) hours for officers working an eight (8) hour shift <br />or twelve (12) hours for officers working a twelve (12) hour shift within an employee's regularly <br />scheduled workday shall be compensated at the following rates: <br />A. Time and one-half (1-1/2) for all hours on duty in excess eight (8) hours or twelve <br />(12) hours for officers working a twelve (12) hour shift. <br />B. Double time for all hours on duty in excess of twelve hours or sixteen (16) hours for <br />officers working a twelve (12) hour shift. <br />C. Double time for all hours on duty in excess of eight (8) or twelve (12) for officers <br />working a twelve (12) hour shift on the following holidays: <br />New Year's Day Memorial Day <br />Independence Day Labor Day <br />Thanksgiving Day Christmas Day <br />Martin Luther King President's Day <br />Veteran's Day Good Friday <br />Juneteenth <br />D. Any employee scheduled off on any of the above listed eleven (11) holidays, who is <br />compelled to work, shall be compensated at the rate of double time. <br />E. Any employee who is compelled to perform official overtime duty during scheduled <br />vacation shall be compensated at the rate of double time in accordance with the <br />provisions of this article. <br />F. Any continuous time over twelve (12) hours if working an eight (8) hour shift or <br />sixteen (16) hours if working a twelve (12) hour shift shall be compensated at the <br />rate of double time. <br />7.03 Employees required to work on the following days shall be paid at time and one-half <br />(1-1/2) for all hours actually worked on the holiday itself: <br />New Year's Day Independence Day <br />Martin Luther King Jr. Day Veteran's Day <br />President's Day Thanksgiving Day <br />8 <br />
