22. RESOLUTION 2022-62 -A RESOLUTION to designate the month of January 2023 as <br /> Poverty Awareness Month in the City of Lakewood. (pg. 072) <br /> Motion by President Litten, seconded by Vice President Kepple to defer Resolution 2022-62. <br /> All members in favor. Motion passed. <br /> 23. RESOLUTION 2022-63 - A RESOLUTION to recognize Ward 2 resident Max Hoelker <br /> on achieving the rank of Eagle Scout as a member of Troop 293, St. Mark Catholic Church <br /> in Cleveland. (pg. 073) <br /> Motion by President Litten, seconded by Vice President Kepple to adopt Resolution 2022-63. <br /> Discussion: Councilmember Shachner commended Mr. Hoelker on his achievement and asked <br /> him to speak about the process. Mr. Hoelker detailed the work he undertook in the community <br /> and thanked Council for the honor. <br /> On the motion: All members in favor. Motion passed. Resolution 2022-63 was adopted. <br /> 24. Communication from Mayor George regarding mayoral reappointments to Boards and <br /> Commissions. (pg. 074) <br /> Motion by President Litten, seconded by Vice President Kepple to defer the communication. <br /> All members in favor. Motion passed. <br /> 25. Communication from Director Rancatore regarding the Parking Fund. (pg. 075) <br /> Motion by President Litten, seconded by Vice President Kepple to receive and file the <br /> communication. All members in favor. Motion passed. <br /> 26. ORDINANCE 49-2022 - AN ORDINANCE to take effect immediately upon <br /> affirmative vote of at least two thirds of the members of Council, or otherwise to take <br /> effect and be in force at the earliest period allowed by law, further delineating the <br /> acceptable uses and purposes of the Parking Meter Fund, Section 129.16 of the Codified <br /> Ordinances, to include new revenue and expenses associated with electronic vehicle <br /> charging (EV) stations,parking meters, electric scooters, and public space acquired or <br /> used to facilitate alternative forms of transportation. (pg. 076) <br /> Motion by President Litten, seconded by Vice President Kepple to defer Ordinance 49-2022. <br />
