MINUTES <br /> OF THE <br /> REGULAR MEETING <br /> OF <br /> LAKEWOOD CITY COUNCIL <br /> AUDITORIUM <br /> January 17, 2023 <br /> 7:30 P.M. <br /> Regular Meeting of the Lakewood City Council called to order at 7:33 PM by President Litten <br /> Present: Kyle Baker, Thomas R. Bullock III, Sarah Kepple, John Litten, Cindy Marx, Tristan <br /> Rader, Jason Shachner <br /> Also Present: Finance Director Rancatore,Police Chief Kaucheck,Public Works Director Gordon, <br /> Human Resources Director Dillinger, Assistant Director of Planning David Baas, Planning <br /> Director Shawn Leininger, Law Director Ernie Vargo, Human Services Director Chad Berry, Fire <br /> Chief Dunphy, Chief of Staff John Storey, Clerk Bach and Council staff <br /> Motion by President Litten, seconded by Vice President Kepple to receive and file the minutes of <br /> the January 3, 2023 General Meeting without the necessity of a reading. All in favor. Motion <br /> passed. <br /> ****OLD BUSINESS*** <br /> 1. Report from Committee of the Whole meeting held January 9, 2023. <br /> President Litten delivered the following oral report: <br /> Committee of the Whole met last Monday to discuss Chris Gordon and his nomination to be our <br /> Public Works Director here in the City of Lakewood. I recall my colleagues asking good <br /> questions to his experience and the applicability ofwhat he may have worked through in Shaker <br /> Heights and how that compares to the City of Lakewood. The Committee did recommend his <br /> appointment unanimously in that committee meeting. We had an executive session related to a <br /> law and union negotiations update from the Administration. <br /> Motion by President Litten, seconded by Vice President Kepple, to receive and file <br /> communication. All in favor. Motion passed. <br /> 1 <br />
