****LIQUOR PERMITS*** <br /> 13. Liquor permit regarding Amber Room at 13601 Detroit Ave. (pg. 27) <br /> Motion by Acting President Kepple, seconded by Councilmember Bullock to file without <br /> abjection. <br /> ***PUBLIC COMMENT"" <br /> First Energy Representative Dave Conley shared tips for Lakewood residents during a power <br /> outage. He explained the importance of calling First Energy or going to the website to notify the <br /> company of a power outage for an efficient response time. <br /> Councilmember Bullock asked Mr. Conley to share information regarding energy efficiency. Mr. <br /> Conley referenced resources and a video on the First Energy website on the topic. Mr. Conley <br /> expressed commitment to his role as a resource for the City of Lakewood. <br /> Councilmember Baker thanked Mr. Conley and commended his responsiveness to resident <br /> concerns. <br /> Kate Ingersoll of Healthy Lakewood Foundation provided feedback regarding the ARPA funding <br /> application. She encouraged Council to consider how they will reach out to smaller organizations <br /> with less capacity. She asked for more information about how Council will vet the proposals, <br /> collectively and individually and for links to the ARPA guidelines. <br /> Acting President Kepple responded and encouraged anyone interested in applying for these funds <br /> to reach out to Council. <br /> ****ANNOUNCEMENTS**** <br /> Councilmember Baker announced that he recently gave a presentation at Hayes Elementary and <br /> that, "the future is bright." <br /> Acting President Kepple thanked Police, Fire, and Public Works for a quick response to an <br /> electrical wire fire on Summit Ave. <br /> Motion by Acting President Kepple, seconded by Councilmember Bullock to adjourn the <br /> meeting.
