(pg. 19) <br /> Motion by Councilmember Rader, seconded by President Litten to receive and file <br /> communication. <br /> Discussion: Councilmember Bullock expressed his appreciation for Councilmember Rader's <br /> lead on the agreement with the Administration and County government. He spoke about an <br /> increase ofnew technology in the energy space and the potential for its creative uses. <br /> On the motion: All in favor. Motion passed. <br /> 11. RESOLUTION 2023-10 - A RESOLUTION authorizing the Mayor or Director of <br /> Public Works, to enter into an agreement with Cuyahoga County for the operation of a <br /> Public Utility within the boundaries of the City of Lakewood. Motion passed. <br /> 12. Communication from Mayor George regarding 2023 NOPEC Grant Awards. RESOLUTION 2023-11 - A RESOLUTION to take effect immediately provided it <br /> receives the vote of at least two thirds of the members of Council, or otherwise to take <br /> effect at the earliest period allowed by law, authorizing the City of Lakewood to enter <br /> into an agreement to accept Northeast Ohio Public Energy Council ("NOPEC") <br /> Energized Community Grant("NEC Grant").
