Discussion: Councilmember Bullock expressed his appreciation for Councilmember Rader's lead on the agreement with the Administration and County government. He spoke about an increase ofnew technology in the energy space and the potential for its creative uses. On the motion: All in favor. Motion passed. 11. RESOLUTION 2023-10 - A RESOLUTION authorizing the Mayor or Director of Public Works, to enter into an agreement with Cuyahoga County for the operation of a Public Utility within the boundaries of the City of Lakewood. (pg. 20) Motion by President Litten, seconded by Vice President Kepple to refer Resolution 2023-10 to Public Works & Sustainability. Discussion: Councilmember Rader mentioned that Council will invite Director Foley as well as other stafffrom the County to the Committee hearing for any questions. On the motion: All in favor. RESOLUTION 2023-11 - A RESOLUTION to take effect immediately provided it receives the vote of at least two thirds of the members of Council, or otherwise to take effect at the earliest period allowed by law, authorizing the City of Lakewood to enter into an agreement to accept Northeast Ohio Public Energy Council ("NOPEC") Energized Community Grant("NEC Grant").
