Motion by President Litten, seconded by Vice President Kepple to receive and file <br /> communication. <br /> Discussion: President Litten asked about time constraints related to the concession lease. Law <br /> Director Vargo explained that there are no time constraints, and the current lease expires in <br /> April of2023. President Litten shared that because the lease has not substantively changed and <br /> the vendor has remained the same for years, he would be in support to adopt Resolution 2023- <br /> 12. <br /> Councilmember Bullock referenced a previous conversation regarding whether the vendor was <br /> in a position to extend its hours ofservice and expressed his interest in updated information. <br /> Councilmember Baker shared his interest in a discussion with the vendor due to increased traffic <br /> in Lakewood Park. <br /> On the motion: All in favor. Motion passed. <br /> 15. RESOLUTION 2023-12 - AN ORDINANCE to take effect immediately provided it <br /> receives the affirmative vote of at least two thirds of the members of Council, or <br /> otherwise to take effect and be in force after the earliest period allowed by law, <br /> authorizing and directing the Mayor to enter into an amendment to the concession lease <br /> agreement with HELP Foundation, Inc. for the operation of food concessions at <br /> Lakewood Park,pursuant to Section 155.08 of the Codified Ordinances. (pg. 25) <br /> Motion by President Litten, seconded by Vice President Kepple to refer Resolution 2023-12 to <br /> Public Works & Sustainability. All in favor. Motion passed. <br /> 16. Communication from Finance Director Rancatore regarding summer sprinkling program. <br /> (pg. 30) <br /> Motion by President Litten, seconded by Vice President Kepple to receive and file <br /> communication. All in favor. Motion passed. <br /> 17.
