Assistant Fire Chief Mick Tenesevich gave the communication on behalf of Fire Chief Dunphy. <br /> Motion by President Litten, seconded by Vice President Kepple to receive and file <br /> communication. All in favor. Motion passed. <br /> 19. RESOLUTION 2023-13 -A RESOLUTION proclaiming March 19th through March <br /> 25th, 2023 "Severe Weather Awareness Week." (pg. 34) <br /> Motion by President Litten, seconded by Vice President Kepple to adopt Resolution 2023-13. <br /> Discussion: President Litten expressed the importance of awareness for severe weather events <br /> and how they impact the City. <br /> On the motion: All in favor. Motion passed. <br /> ***LIQUOR PERMITS*** <br /> 20. Liquor Permit—Talia and Brothers LLC, 14412 Detroit Rd. (pg. 36) <br /> Director Vargo shared that the Administration will seek an extension of time for the review of <br /> the liquor permits included in agenda items 20 and 21. <br /> Motion by President Litten, seconded by Vice President Kepple to defer. All in favor. Motion <br /> passed. <br /> 21. Liquor Permit—Capl Retail LLC— 14718 Madison Ave. (pg. 37) <br /> Motion by President Litten, seconded by Vice President Kepple to defer. All in favor. Motion <br /> passed. <br /> ***PUBLIC COMMENT**** <br /> No public comment was made. <br /> ****ANNOUNCEMENTS**** <br /> Director Leininger announced the virtual public meeting regarding the Lakewood Park <br /> Waterfront Access Feasibility Study on March 22nd at 6:00 p.m. He explained that the social <br /> media and email for the meeting will be available soon. <br /> President Litten reminded Council of the customary Wednesday docket deadline and shared that <br /> the deadline had been extended to Friday for this week. He congratulated new Deputy Clerk <br /> Haneen Hamideh, and he announced that he will not be running for re-election to the Ward 3 <br /> seat. President Litten encouraged a free and fair election to the seat. <br /> Motion by President Litten, seconded by Vice President Kepple to adjourn meeting. All in favor. <br /> Motion passed.
