(pg. 17) <br /> Motion by President Litten, seconded by Vice President Kepple to refer Resolution 2023-15 to the <br /> Housing, Planning & Development Committee. <br /> Discussion: Councilmember Bullock suggested the referral of Resolution 2023-15 to the Public <br /> Works & Sustainability Committee. <br /> Motion by President Litten, seconded by Vice President Kepple to amend the previous motion and <br /> instead refer Resolution 2023-15 to Public Works & Sustainability. All in favor. Motion passed. <br /> ...LIQUOR PERMITS... <br /> 12. Liquor Permit—Talia and Brothers LLC, 14412 Detroit Rd. (pg. 104) <br /> Motion by President Litten, seconded by Vice President Kepple to file with no objection. All in <br /> favor. Motion passed. <br /> 13. Motion passed. <br /> ***PUBLIC COMMENT*** <br /> Matthew and Brianna Zgodinski, 1372 Thoreau Rd—Mr. and Mrs. Zgodinski expressed concerns <br /> regarding the property management company of their previous apartment complex. They claimed <br /> that there is a lack of response from maintenance and addressed the disorganization of the transfer <br /> of management. <br /> Mayor George stated that she will follow up with Mr. and Mrs. Zgodinski and have the Building <br /> Department visit on any health and safety violations presented at the apartment complex. <br /> Chelsea Cruea, 12511 Clifton Blvd—Ms. Cruea shared her concerns with Mr. and Mrs. Zgodinski <br /> about their previous apartment complex and described a situation of a pipe burst and flooding due <br /> to the lack of response from maintenance. <br /> Councilmember Bullock expressed the importance of taking this problem seriously and asked Law <br /> Director Vargo about the private lease agreements. Law Director Vargo explained that there is <br /> basic maintenance that is provided to a tenant, and that there is an implicated public building code. <br /> Councilmember Marx explained that there will be a follow up for the investigation of the property. <br /> 6 <br />
