(pg. 16) <br /> Motion by President Litten,seconded by Vice President Kepple to receive and file communication. <br /> Discussion: Councilmembers Rader and Baker expressed support for the Climate Action Plan. <br /> Councilmember Rader emphasized the role of public participation in sharing the plan and <br /> finalizing it. Councilmember Baker explained that the use of federal funding can bring down costs <br /> of implementing the plan. <br /> Councilmember Bullock expressed appreciation for the comprehensive analysis and framework <br /> that the Climate Action Plan is providing. He explained that a key point is how the City will use <br /> this document going forward and as early as the 2024 City budget process. <br /> President Litten voiced his appreciation to the Administration and Council, and expressed that the <br /> City is just at the beginning of their work for the Climate Action Plan. <br /> 5 <br />
