Youth Services Building—requesting $200,000 <br /> The committee and the administration discussed some of the outstanding questions and <br /> considerations related to this funding request and declined to commit funds until more details are <br /> provided. <br /> The committee revisited and discussed the remaining proposals that were not yet fully funded <br /> including housing outreach, traffic calming and Studio W. 117th. Councilmembers identified <br /> areas where they'd like to learn more before making financial commitments. Councilmember <br /> Rader committed $20,000 to Lakewood Alive Housing Outreach. <br /> President Litten proposed that Committee of the Whole reconvene on May 8h and that members <br /> be prepared to make final allocations toward unfunded projects. <br /> In response to a question, Director Leininger provided an update on the administration's plans <br /> for making a recommendation regarding the Youth Services Building. <br /> Councilmember Bullock spoke about the importance of helping both nonprofit organizations <br /> gain success. He mentioned his open mindedness for other proposed options at the May 8 <br /> meeting. <br /> Approval of the minutes of the April 10, 2023 Committee of the Whole. <br /> Motion was made and seconded to approve the minutes of the April 10, 2023 Committee of the Whole. <br /> All members voted in favor.
