MINUTES <br /> OF A MEETING OF <br /> LAKEWOOD CITY COUNCIL <br /> AUDITORIUM <br /> APRIL 17, 2023 <br /> 7:30 P.M. <br /> Regular Meeting of the Lakewood City Council called to order at 7:43 PM by Acting President <br /> Kepple <br /> Present: Kyle Baker, Thomas R. Bullock III, Sarah Kepple, Cindy Marx, Tristan Rader, Jason <br /> Shachner <br /> Also Present: Mayor George, Finance Director Rancatore, Police Chief Kaucheck, Public <br /> Works Director Gordon, Law Director Ernie Vargo, Fire Chief Dunphy, Human Services <br /> Director Berry, Clerk Bach and Council staff <br /> Motion by Vice President Kepple, seconded by Councilmember Bullock to excuse the absence <br /> of President Litten. All members voted in favor. Motion passed. <br /> Motion by Vice President Kepple, seconded by Councilmember Bullock to approve the <br /> minutes of the April 3, 2023 General Meeting without the necessity of a reading. All in favor. <br /> Motion passed. <br /> ****OLD BUSINESS*** <br /> 1. Report from Committee of the Whole meeting held April 10, 2023. <br /> Motion by Vice President Kepple, seconded by Councilmember Bullock to receive and file the <br /> report. All members voted in favor. Motion passed. <br /> 2. ORDINANCE 08-2023 (Originally noticed as Resolution 2023-12)-AN ORDINANCE <br /> to take effect immediately provided it receives the affirmative vote of at least two thirds of <br /> the members of Council, or otherwise to take effect and be in force after the earliest period <br /> allowed by law, authorizing and directing the Mayor to enter into an amendment to the <br /> concession lease agreement with HELP Foundation, Inc. for the operation of food <br /> concessions at Lakewood Park,pursuant to Section 155.08 of the Codified Ordinances. (I" <br /> read and referred to PWS 03106123; 2"d reading 413123) <br /> Motion by Vice President Kepple, seconded by Councilmember Bullock to adopt Ordinance 08- <br /> 2023. All members voted in favor. Motion passed. Ordinance 08-2023 adopted. <br /> 1 <br />
