All in
favor. Motion passed.
***PUBLIC COMMENT""
Brittany Brocker— 1480 Lewis Dr—Ms. Brocker expressed her concern regarding the speeding
and unsafe traffic on Lewis Drive. She mentioned the street being used as a cut through and the
lack of a safe place to cross the street. She suggested a radar sign for speeding and a three-way
crosswalk. He
explained that traffic calming measures can be added through the website, and he mentioned the
ARPA funds that will accelerate the program.
Councilmember Baker mentioned the Transportation Task Force that involves PTA members and
the City schools to talk about the safe ways to get to school. He also mentioned the potential uses
of radar signs, raised crosswalks, and bumping out curbs to slow down traffic.
Councilmember Bullock spoke about the usable community spaces that change with speed.
