doze off, a physical fight started outside that same window in my home at about 12:15
a.m. I called the police, to which they already received a call, and they came through to
arrest one of the men.
I can go on and on with examples, but I wanted to focus on the fact that although I'm
here for short periods of time, this is the type of behavior seen from the tenants of this
complex. I CANNOT imagine living here full time and now will re-evaluate if I will ever
want to.
During these time periods, there has been more and more evictions, so if there aren't
people outside of my window with police....there are large amounts of bulk trash! It's
filthy and happens now on a weekly basis. Finally, imagine when I go out to dinners and
take Uber home? I have to actually ask the Uber driver to park on the side, so I can
RUN into my own garage and unable to feel comfortable being dropped off in the front
of my home where most of these parked cars (with people) stay.
I really hope Lakewood considers this type of housing, behaviors and the kind of
tenants that are being brought into our city. Thank you for listening and if you ever have
any additional questions or feedback - please reach out anytime.
Sincerely,
MaryAnne Manasan
