Motion passed. <br />***PUBLIC COMMENT**** <br />Nathan Noll – 1441 Lincoln Ave <br />Mr. Noll came to discuss the possibility of developing a community initiative to design a new <br />flag for the City of Lakewood. He talked about different examples of strong city flags, and how <br />they can serve as a source of pride for residents. He expressed the importance of having a flag <br />initiative backed by council to give the project legitimacy. He stated that many cities have <br />embarked on similar initiatives, and provided some examples of how the city could get started. <br />****ANNOUNCEMENTS**** <br />Councilmember Baker thanked all of the city employees that helped staff the Heros Run. <br />th <br />Councilmember Shachner reminded everyone that next Monday, September 25 there will be <br />a Finance Committee meeting at 7:00 p.m. to discuss the upcoming budget.
