Motion passed. ***PUBLIC COMMENT**** Nathan Noll – 1441 Lincoln Ave Mr. Noll came to discuss the possibility of developing a community initiative to design a new flag for the City of Lakewood. He talked about different examples of strong city flags, and how they can serve as a source of pride for residents. He expressed the importance of having a flag initiative backed by council to give the project legitimacy. He stated that many cities have embarked on similar initiatives, and provided some examples of how the city could get started. ****ANNOUNCEMENTS**** Councilmember Baker thanked all of the city employees that helped staff the Heros Run. th Councilmember Shachner reminded everyone that next Monday, September 25 there will be a Finance Committee meeting at 7:00 p.m. to discuss the upcoming budget.
