DocuSign Envelope ID: D733A3F0-EC57-49D6-A4C4-7A15E4E44C25 <br />er month shall cost $4.83 per one hundred cubic feet of water. <br />(4) Effective January 1, 20222027, the first 2,500 ccf of water used during each one <br />month billing period shall cost $8.2610.05 per one hundred cubic feet of water and all over 2,500 <br />ccf per month shall cost $4.135.02 per one hundred cubic feet of water. <br />(5) Effective January 1, 22028, the first 2,500 ccf of water used during each one <br />month billing period shall cost $5.5310.45 per one hundred cubic feet of water and all over 2,500 <br />ccf per month shall cost $45.22 per one hundred cubic feet of water. <br />(b) In case of failure to pay any charges duly prescribed, the City may take any <br />appropriate action against a recipient of water service or property owner, including but not limited <br />to instituting any proceeding in a court of proper jurisdiction, shutting off service in accordance <br />with Section 902.09 and certifying the amount of all unpaid water service charges to the Cuyahoga <br />County Auditor, with interest accruing at a rate of ten percent (10%) per annum from thirty days <br />after the date of delinquency, for assessment against the lot or parcel of land involved. Such <br />assessments shall be so certified to the County Auditor and shall be collected and reimbursed to <br />the City in the same manner as special assessments. <br />Section 5. It is found and determined that all formal actions of this Council concerning and <br />relating to the passage of this ordinance were adopted in an open meeting of this Council, and <br />that all such deliberations of this Council and of any of its committees that resulted in such <br />formal action were in meetings open to the public in compliance with all legal requirements. <br />Section 6.
