President Litten made a motion to receive and file the communication, seconded by Bullock. All <br />in favor, motion passed. <br />43.ORDINANCE 43-2023 - AN ORDINANCE to take effect immediately provided it <br />receives the affirmative vote of at least two thirds of the members of Council, or <br />otherwise to take effect and be in force at the earliest period allowed by law, authorizing <br />the issuance of notes in the amount of not to exceed $2,555,000 in anticipation of the <br />issuance of bonds to pay costs of improving Bunts Road, Crest Lane, Giel Avenue, <br />Onondaga Avenue, Wayne Avenue and Webb Road and other streets located within the <br />city, between certain termini, by resurfacing and replacing concrete, together with all <br />necessary appurtenances thereto; and approving related matters; and declaring an <br />emergency. (pg. 259) <br />President Litten made a motion to suspend the rules and read items 43 – 47 concurrently, <br />seconded by Councilmember Bullock. <br />A roll call vote was conducted as follows: <br />Yea: Baker, Bullock, Litten, Marx, Rader, Shachner <br />Nays: none <br />All in favor, motion passed. Rules suspended. <br />44.ORDINACE 44-2023 -AN ORDINANCE to take effect immediately provided it <br />receives the affirmative vote of at least two thirds of the members of Council, or <br />otherwise to take effect and be in force at the earliest period allowed by law, authorizing <br />the issuance of notes in the amount of not to exceed $4,810,000 in anticipation of the <br />issuance of bonds to pay costs of designing, engineering and constructing sewer <br />improvements, together with all necessary appurtenances thereto; and approving related <br />matters. ORDINANCE 45-2023 - AN ORDINANCE to take effect immediately provided it <br />receives the affirmative vote of at least two thirds of the members of Council, or <br />otherwise to take effect and be in force at the earliest period allowed by law, authorizing <br />the issuance of notes in the amount of not to exceed $615,000 in anticipation of the <br />issuance of bonds to pay costs of improving sidewalks within the city; and approving <br />related matters. ORDINANCE 46-2023 - AN ORDINANCE to take effect immediately provided it <br />receives the affirmative vote of at least two thirds of the members of Council, or <br />otherwise to take effect and be in force at the earliest period allowed by law, authorizing <br />the issuance of notes in the amount of not to exceed $1,020,000 in anticipation of the <br />issuance of bonds to pay costs of constructing a refuse recycling facility; renovating <br />refuse truck parking facility; replacing or improving the roofs of public buildings, <br />including the municipal facilities garage; improving the sites thereof, including <br />16 <br /> <br /> <br />
