Resolution 2024-07 adopted. <br />***PUBLIC COMMENT*** <br />Robert Oregon, Bayes Ave. – Mr. Oregon stated the dangers posed by certain intersections in <br />Lakewood, emphasizing the importance of safety in a city known for its density and <br />walkability. He called on the Council to address these issues in line with the Active <br />Transportation Plan. <br />Councilman Bullock concurred with Mr. Oregon’s thoughts, noting the cost benefits of <br />increased bike usage on road maintenance, and advocating for enhanced bike lanes and safety <br />measures for both cyclists and pedestrians. <br />Ted Babcock, Lark Street – Mr. Babcock shared his positive experience with walking and <br />using public transport in Lakewood since moving from downtown, praising the city's density <br />and safety.
