NO. 47-65 BY: <br /> <br />Messrs. cain, GaydOs, <br /> Ward, Bennett. <br /> <br />121.17 <br /> <br /> AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE to repeal Sections 121.04, 121.05, <br />121.07 a~ 121.12 to 121.15, both inclusive, of the Administra- <br />tive Code\of the Codified Ordinances of the City, of Lakewood <br />and to enact new Sections 121~04, 121.05, 121.07, 121.12 to <br />~%~$~, both inclusiVe, of the Administrative <br />Code of the Codified Ordinances of the City of Lakewood, all <br />relating to Rules. of Council. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, This ordinance c6nStitut~s an emergency <br />measure providing for the daily operation of a.municipal <br />partment; now, therefore <br /> <br /> BE IT ORDAINED By ~ COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAIfEwOOD, <br />STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1o That Sections 121.04, 121.05~ 121.07 and <br />121.12 to 121.15, both inclusive~ of the Administrative Code <br />of the Codified Ordinances of the City of Lakewood b~ and the <br />same are hereby repealed. <br /> <br />Section 2. That the Administrative Code of the Codified <br />Ordinances of the City of Lakewood be and the same are hereby <br />supplementedi~ ~acting new SectiOns 121.04, 121.05, 121.07, <br />121.12 to ~!,~both inclusive, ...... -~ i~, to read <br />respectively as follows: <br /> <br />Section 121o04 C~mmittees <br /> <br />At no later than the first regular meeting of the <br />Council after its organization, the President of <br />Council shall appoint Standing Committees on the <br />following named subjects: <br /> <br /> 1. Finance, claims and Accounts <br /> 2. Rules and Ordinances <br /> 3. Utilities and Transportation <br /> 4. Traffic and Safety <br /> 5o Recreation <br /> 6. City Property and Public Improvement~ <br /> 7. City Departments <br /> 8. Hospital <br /> 9. Zoning and Planning <br />10. Commercial Development <br />1i. Juvenile Affairs <br /> <br />The President shall also appoint all other <br />committees, which the Council shall not vote <br />to elect° <br /> <br />Ail Council committees shall consist of two <br />members of Council, unless otherwise determined <br />by a vote of Council, except Finance, Claims and <br />Accounts, which shall consist of three members. <br /> <br />The President of Council shall be an ex-officio <br />member of all committees except those on which he <br />is a designated member, and, as an ex-officio <br />member, shall have the right to vote only in case <br />of a tie vote member. <br /> <br /> <br />
