Usher, Ward, <br /> Wendling, Bennett, <br /> Cain~ Gaydos, <br /> Huffman. <br /> <br /> A~ EMERGENCY ORDINANCE to amend Sections 907.05 <br />and 907.06 of the General Offenses Code of the Codified <br />Ordinances of the City of Lakewood relating to curfews. <br /> <br /> ~EREAS, This ordinance constitutes an emergency <br />measure providing for the immediate preservation of the public <br />peace and safety and for the usual daily operation of a <br />municipal department; now, therefore, <br /> <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That Section 907.05 of the General <br />Offenses Code of the Codified Ordinances of the City of Lake- <br />wood, now reading as follows: <br /> <br />Section 907.05 CUrfew for Children <br /> <br />bit shall be unlawful for any child under the age <br /> of fifteen years to be upon the streets or sidewalks <br /> or any public property within the City of Lakewood <br /> between the hours of 11:00 P.M. and 4:00 A.M. of the <br /> following morning or for any child of or over the <br /> age of fifteen but under the age of eighteen years <br /> to be upon the streets or sidewalks or any public <br /> property within the City of Lakewood between the <br /> hours of 12:00 midnight and 4:00 A.M. of the follow- <br /> ing morning; provided, however, that the provisions <br /> of this section do not apply to a minor accompanied <br /> by his parent, guardian or other adult person having <br /> the care and custody of the minor, or where the minor <br /> is upon an .emergency errand or legitimate business <br /> directed by his parent, guardian or other adult <br /> person having the care and custody of the minor." <br /> <br />be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows; <br /> <br />Section 907.05 Curfew for Children <br /> <br />It shall be unlawful for any child under the age <br />of fifteen years to be upon the streets or sidewalks <br />or any public property within the City of Lakewood <br />between the hours of 11:00 P.M. and 4:00 A.M. of the <br />following morning or for any child of or over the <br />age of fifteen but under the age of eighteen years <br />to be upon the streets or sidewalks or any public <br />property within the City of Lakewood between the hours <br />of 12:30 A.M. and 4:00 A.M. of the following morning; <br />provided, however, that the provisions of this section <br />do not apply to a minor accompanied by his parent, <br />guardian or other adult person having the care and <br />custody of the minor, or where the minor is upon an <br />emergency errand or legitimate business directed by <br />his parent, guardian or other adult person having <br />the care and custody of the minor. <br /> <br /> <br />
