ORDINANCE NO. 72-68 <br /> <br />BYMessrs. Kelley, Usher, Wendling, <br />Gaydos, Graber, Huffman <br /> <br /> AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE providing for the sale of <br />certain real property located at the southwest corner of <br />Delaware Avenue and Emily Drive in the City of Lakewood, Ohio. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, The said real property (hereinafter described <br />in the body of the agreement) owned by the City of Lakewood, is <br />no longer needed for any municipal purpose, and, <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, For the foregoing reason, it is in the best <br />interest of the City of Lakewood that said real property be <br />sold, and, <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, The Board of Control Of the City of Lakewood <br />has directed that said real property be sold, and, <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, This ordinance constitutes an emergency <br />measure providing for the immediate preservation of the public <br />health, safety and welfare and'for the usual daily operation of <br />a municipal department; now, thereforev <br /> <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OFTHE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, <br />STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. It is hereby determined that the real <br />property described in the agreement set forth herein is no longer <br />needed for municipal purposes. <br /> <br /> Section 2. This Council 'hereby authorizes the sale <br />of said land to Audrey L. Cristino, imarried, and the Mayor is <br />authorized and directed to execute, on behalf of the City of <br />Lakewood, a contract for the sale of said property, in substan- <br />tially the following form: <br /> <br />AGREEMENT <br /> <br />THIS AGREEMENT made and concluded at Lakewood, Ohio, this <br /> day of October, 1968, by and between the City of <br />~a'keWood, whose mailing address is 12650 Detroit Avenue, <br />Lakewood, Ohio, hereinafter called the "VENDOR" and <br />Audrey L. Cristino, married, whose mailing address is <br />2268 Emily Drive, Lakewood, Ohio, hereinafter called the <br />"VENDEE". <br /> <br />WITNESSETH: <br /> <br />That in consideration of the mutual promises of the parties <br />herein containedv the VENDOR agrees to sell and convey and <br />the VENDEE agrees to purchase and pay for, upon and under <br />the provisions, terms and conditions herein expressed, the <br />following described premises situated in the City of Lakewood, <br />County of Cuyahoga and State of Ohio, and known as being <br />part of original Rockport Township Section Number 19, being <br />a part of Sublot Number 17 in the Tuxedo Land Company's Warren <br />Park Subdivision as shown by the recorded plat in Volume 79 <br />of Maps, Page 40 of Cuyahoga County Records, and bounded and <br /> <br /> <br />
