Wendling, Gaydes, Graber, Huffman, Kelley, Usher, Ward AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE authorizing the Mayor, on behalf of the City of Lakewood, to purchase the certain real estate located at 1382 Belle Avenue and the rear twenty-seven (27) feet of two parcels that front on the northerly side of Detroit Avenue, one being at the northwest corner of Detroit Avenue at Belle Avenue, and the otheradjacent at 14608 Detroit Avenue, Lakewood0 Ohio, hereinafter more particularly described° WHEREAS~ This ordinance constitutes an emergency in that the owners have agreed to sell said property for the consideration hereinafter stipulated which this Council deems to be in the best interest of the City and in that it provides for the public health and welfare and the usual daily operation of a municipal department; now, therefore, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF O~IO: Section 1. That the Mayor be, and he is hereby authorized to purchase from Robert Overbeke, married° Edna O. Kluth, married, Jane O. Kain, married, and Ruth Kaplan, single, the following described property: PARCEL ~ !: Situated in the City of Lakewood, County of Cuyahoga and State of Ohio, and known as being SubLot No. 381 in the Lakewood Realty Company's Subdivision No~ 1 of Part of Original Rockport Township Section No. 22 as shown by the recorded plat in Volume 25 of Maps, Page 26 of Cuyahoga County Records and being 40 feet front on the westerly side of Belle Avenue and extending back of equal width 130 feet, as appears by said plat, be the same more or less, but subject to all legal highways. PARCEL ~2: Situated in the City of Lakewood, County of Cuyahoga and State of Ohio, and known as being part of Original Rockport Township Section No. 22 and bounded and described as follows: Beginning at the northeasterly corner of Sublot No. 382 in the Lakewood Realty Company's Subdivision No. 1 as shown by the recorded plat in Volume 25 of Maps, Page 26 of County Records; thence along the northerly line of said SubLot Number 382 which bears North 89° 32' 00" West 143o97 feet; thence South 2° 31' 57" East 27.04 feet; thence No~th 89° 32' 00" East a distance of about 142o0 feet to the westerly line of Belle Avenue (60 feet wide) which point is 113o00 feet North of the northerly line of Detroit Avenue (originally 66 feet wide); thence North 00O 28' 18" East along the westerly line of Belle Avenue aforesaid, 27.0 feet to the place of beginning be the same more or less, but subject to all legal highways. and to pay therefor the sum of Fifty Eight Thousand Eight Hundred Dollars ($58,800.00).
