(e) of the Traffic Code of the Codified Ordinances of the City of Lakewood relating to waiver privileges for traffic fines. .WHEREAS, this council deems it appropriate to increase the penalties imposed for motor vehicle parking violations, now, therefore~ .. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKE'WOOD, STATE OF OHIO: Section 1. That existing Section 35]L.99 paragraph (e) of the Traffic Code of the City of Lakewood, now reading as follows: '351.99 PENALTY AND WAIVER. (e) Whoever violates any of the provisiOns of Sections ~51.01 to 351.18, subparagraphs (b) and (c) of Section 351.20, Section 351.23, subparagraphs (a), (b) and (c) of Section 355.06, or Chapter.353 may, in lieu of other penalties provided for the violation of such provisions and upon signing a waiver, be fined one dollar ($1.00), if such violator pays such fine at the Traffic Bureau, in person or by mail, %rithin forty-eight hours, or, if not within forty-eight hours, then in the sum of five dollars ($5.00) if such violator pays such amount at the Traffic Bureau, in person or by · ~ail, within seventy-two hours from the time of violation. In the event such violator does not pay the fine as hereinbefore provided, then a warrant shall be issued and such violator shall be subject to the penalties otherwise provided for the violation of such provisions.' Whoever violates Section 351.27 may, in lieu of the o~her penalties provided for the violation of such section and upon signing a waiver, be fined five dollars ($5.00) if such violator pays such fine at the Traffic Bureau, in person or by mail, within forty-eight hours, or, if mot within forty-eight hours, then in the sum of ten dollars ($10.00) %f such violator pays such amount at the Traffic Bureau, in person or by Nil, within seventy-two hours from the time of violation. In the event such violator does not'pay the fine as hereinbefore provided, then a warrant shall be issued and such violator shall be subject to the penalties otherwise Provided 'for the violation of such provisions. he and the same is hereby amended to read as follows: 351.99 PENALTY AND WAIVER.
