Graber, Kelley, <br /> Magnotto~ McBride, Usher, <br /> Wendling, Brockmsn <br /> <br /> AN ORDINANCE to amend existing Section 351.99 paragraph. (e) of the Traffic <br />Code of the Codified Ordinances of the City of Lakewood relating to waiver privileges <br />for traffic fines. <br /> <br /> .WHEREAS, this council deems it appropriate to increase the penalties imposed <br />for motor vehicle parking violations, now, therefore~ .. <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKE'WOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That existing Section 35]L.99 paragraph (e) of the Traffic Code <br />of the City of Lakewood, now reading as follows: <br /> <br />'351.99 PENALTY AND WAIVER. <br /> (e) Whoever violates any of the provisiOns of Sections ~51.01 to 351.18, <br /> subparagraphs (b) and (c) of Section 351.20, Section 351.23, subparagraphs <br /> (a), (b) and (c) of Section 355.06, or Chapter.353 may, in lieu of other <br /> penalties provided for the violation of such provisions and upon signing <br /> a waiver, be fined one dollar ($1.00), if such violator pays such fine at <br /> the Traffic Bureau, in person or by mail, %rithin forty-eight hours, or, <br /> if not within forty-eight hours, then in the sum of five dollars ($5.00) <br /> if such violator pays such amount at the Traffic Bureau, in person or by <br /> · ~ail, within seventy-two hours from the time of violation. In the event <br /> such violator does not pay the fine as hereinbefore provided, then a <br /> warrant shall be issued and such violator shall be subject to the penalties <br /> otherwise provided for the violation of such provisions.' <br /> <br />Whoever violates Section 351.27 may, in lieu of the o~her penalties provided <br />for the violation of such section and upon signing a waiver, be fined five <br />dollars ($5.00) if such violator pays such fine at the Traffic Bureau, in <br />person or by mail, within forty-eight hours, or, if mot within forty-eight <br />hours, then in the sum of ten dollars ($10.00) %f such violator pays such <br />amount at the Traffic Bureau, in person or by Nil, within seventy-two <br />hours from the time of violation. In the event such violator does not'pay <br />the fine as hereinbefore provided, then a warrant shall be issued and such <br />violator shall be subject to the penalties otherwise Provided 'for the <br />violation of such provisions. <br /> <br />he and the same is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> <br /> 351.99 PENALTY AND WAIVER. <br /> (e)' Whoever violates any of the provisions of subparagraphs (a), (b) and <br /> (c) of Section 355.06, or Chapter 353 may, in lieu of other penalties <br /> provided for the violation of such provisions and upon signing a waiver, <br /> ba fined two dollars ($2~.00), if such violator pays such fine at the <br /> Traffic Bureau, in person or by mail, within forty-eight hours, or, if not <br /> within forty-eight hours, then in the sum of five dollars ($5.00) if such <br /> violator pays such amount at the Traffic Bureau, in pers~ or by ~il, <br /> within seventy-two hours from the time of violation.
