AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE to amend Section 149.15 of the Administrative Code of the Codified Ordinances of the City of Lakewood relating to payment by the City of Lakewood of certain sums toward employee's hospitalization coverage, co~nencing March 1, 1972. ~tEREAS, This Council deems it to be in the best interest of the City to provide for this participation in the medical and hospital protection plans of the City · employees, and, WHERF~S, This ordinance, constitutes an emergency measure providing for the usual dally operation of municipal departments; now, therefore, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: Section 1. That Section 1~9.15 of the Administrative Code of the Codified Ordinances of the City of Lakewood, now reading as follows: Section 149.15 City's share of Hospitalization Insurance. (a) For the purposes of this section, a City employee shall be defined -' as any employee of Lakewood Municipal Court and any employee of the City of Lakewood who has completed sixty days of continuous service for the City, but shall exclude members of Council, employees of 'Lakewood Hospital, temporary employees, seasonal employees, school ~uards, and public works inspectors. ~) The Director of Finance is hereby authorized to pay out of City funds _ uP to Thirty-Seven Dollars ($37.00) per month, toward hospitalization coverage of each member of the Division of Fire, payable monthly or · s-x~emiannually at the discretion of the Director of Finance. .... (c) The Director of Finance is hereby aut/aorized to pay out of City funds up to Thirty-Seven Dollars ($37.00) per month toward hospitalization coverage of each member of the Division of Police, payable monthly or semiannually at the discretion of the Director of Finance. (d) The Director of Finance is hereby authorized to pay out of City funds up. ~o Thirty-Nine Dollars and Seventy-Thr~e Cents ($39.73) per month toward hospitalization coverage of all other City employees, payable ~onthly or semiannually at the discretion of the Director of Finance. (e) The payment by the City shall be from the following funds: .(1) Seventy-Five percent from the General (2) Thirteen percent from the Street Construction' Maintenance- and (3) Fire,percent from the S~.Ea%ge Disposal Operating Fu~d. (4) Six percent from the Water Depar~nent Fund. (5) O~e.,perct~t from the Parki.~g Meter Fund. he the same is hereby amended to read as follows: Section 149.15 City's share of Hospitalizatiom ~suramce.
