BY: Brown, Chinnock, Gallagher, <br />ORDINANCE NO. 78-86 Graham, McBride, Salmon, Wendling <br /> AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE authorizing and directing the <br />Director of Public Works to cause a dedication plat to be filed for <br />record for twenty parcels in the Clifton ?rado and one parcel fronting <br />on Clifton Blvd. in order to provide for %he construction of a new <br />public roadway for ~he Clifton ?rado project and accepting and <br />confirming such dedication, <br /> WHEREAS~ June 18,' 1984 Lakewood City Council adopted <br /> Ordinance #71-84 authorizing mnd directing the Director of Public <br /> Works to cause ~ plat to be made of the territory known as the <br /> Lakewood Clifton Prado Project showing the location of the streets and <br /> alleys already dedicated and those proposed, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this Council deems it expedient to dedicate for <br />public use that portion of the City designated as the Lakewood Clifton <br />Prado Project in which the necessary streets have not as yet become <br />public streets, and <br /> WHEREAS, .this ordinance constitutes an emergency measure <br />providing for the immediate preservation of the public health, safety <br />and welfare and for the usual daily operation of a municipal <br />department; now, therefore, <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL. OF THE CITY OF LAKEW00D, STATE <br /> OF CHI0: <br /> Section 1. That the Director of Public Works be and he is <br /> hereby authorized and directed to cause a dedication plat to be filed <br /> for record for twenty parcels in the Clifton Prado and one parcel <br /> frOnting on Clifton Blvd. in that portion of the City of Lakewood <br /> designated as the Lakewood Clifton Prado Project showing the location <br /> of streets and alleys already dedicated, and those proposed. <br /> Section 2. That pursuant to Section 27 of Article XIV of <br /> the amended Charter of the City of Lakewood, Council hereby accepts <br /> and confirms the within dedication and the Clerk of Council is <br /> authorized and directed to sign said plat, <br /> Section 3. It is found and determined that all formal <br /> actions of this Council concerning and relating to the passage of this <br /> ordinance were adopted in an open meeting of this Council, and that <br /> all such deliberations of this Council and of any of its committees <br /> that resulted in such formal action, were in meetings open to the <br /> public, in compliance with all legal requirements including Section <br /> 121.22 of the Ohio Revised Code, <br /> Section 4. That this ordinance is hereby declared to be an <br /> emergency measure for the reasons stated in the preamble hereof and <br /> provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members <br /> of Council, it shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its <br /> adoptiOn and approval by the Mayor; otherwise, it shall take effect <br /> and be in force after the earliest period allowed by law. <br /> <br /> Adopted' ~~ <br /> · IDENT <br /> <br />CLERK <br /> <br />Approved :~~ <br /> <br /> <br />
