PLACED ON FIRST READING and REFERRED <br />to FINANCE CMTE on 3/18/91. <br />PLACED ON SECOND~ READING on 4/1/9] <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO. <br /> <br />24-91 <br /> <br />BY: <br /> <br />Gallagher, George, Graham, <br />Roth, Smith <br /> <br /> AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE to amend Sections 135.06(a) and <br />135.07(b) of the Administrative Code of the Codified Ordinances of the <br />City of Lakewood to change fees charged by the Division of Police for <br />services. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the cost of these services, maintenance of supplies <br />and supervision of personnel has materially increased, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this ordinance constitutes an emergency measure <br />providing for the immediate preservation of the public health, safety <br />and welfare, and for the usual daily operation of a municipal <br />department; now, therefore, <br /> <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That Section 135.06(a) of the Administrative Code <br />of the Codified Ordinances, now reading as follows: <br /> <br /> 135.06 FEES FOR COPIES OF RECORDS. <br /> <br />(a) The Director of Public Safety, through the <br />Record Bureau of the Division of Police, is hereby <br />authorized to make and collect the hereinafter <br />provided charges for the following services: <br /> 1. Motor vehicle accident reports $3.00 for each <br /> report consisting of <br /> two pages plus $1.00 <br /> for each additional <br /> page. <br /> 2. Complaint, criminal and miscel- <br /> laneous investigative reports $2.00 (one side) <br /> plus $1,00 for each <br /> additional page. <br /> 3. Record checks made for anyone <br /> other than law enforcement <br /> agencies or federal agencies $1.00 each. <br /> 4. Fingerprints $2.00 for each card. <br /> 5. Photographs $5.00 for each <br /> photograph. <br /> 6. Clearance letters $2.00 for each <br /> letter. <br /> <br />shall be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> <br />135.06 FEES FOR COPIES OF RECORDS. <br /> <br />(a) The Director of Public Safety, through the <br />Record Bureau of the Division of Police, is hereby <br />authorized to make and collect the hereinafter <br />provided charges for the following services: <br /> 1, Motor vehicle accident reports: $3.00 for <br /> <br />2.
