AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE to estab[ish temporary appropriations for current expenses and other expenditures of the CiLy of Lakewood, State of Ohio, for three months, ,lanuarY 1, 2002 ~o March 31, 2002 as provided by Ohio Revised Code Se~on 5705.38. WHEREAS, this Coundl by a vote of at leas~ five members elected ~ereto determines ~hat this ordinance is an emergency measure, and that this ordinance 'shall take effect at the earlies~ date possible as set forth in ARTICLE III, 'SECTIONS 10 and I3 of the SECOND AMENDED CHARTER OF THE C1TY OF LAKEWOOD, and tha~ it is necessary to provide for the usual daily operation of the City in that the City mus~ record all financial transactions within the appropriate fiscal period.
