PLACED 0~ 2bid READING <br /> 2/2/04. <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO. 2-04 <br /> <br />FitzGerald, Madigan, Seelie. <br /> <br /> AN ORDINANCE to enact a new section of Chapter 129 of the Codified <br />Ordinances of the City of Lakewood establishing petty cash funds for the use of <br />departments within the City of Lake~vood. <br /> <br />BE iT ORDAINED BYTHE ClTY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. There is hereby established Petty Cash Funds for the use of various <br />departments throughout the City, as follows: <br /> <br />Finance Department $700.00 <br />Police Department $1000.00 <br />Fire Departmef~t $200,00 <br />Mayor's Office $200,00 <br />Municipal Courts $200.00 <br />Law Enforcement Trust $5,000.00 <br />Office on Aging $150.00 <br />Health Department $50.00 <br />Water Department $200.00 <br /> <br />The Director of Finance is hereby authorized and directed forthWith to take such action <br />and to make such records as may be necessary to establish these funds and thereafter <br />to show its existence and condition at all times upon the proper records of the City. <br /> <br /> Section 2. It is found and determined that all formal actions of this Coundl <br />concerning and relating to the. passage of this ordinance were adopted in an open <br />meeting of this Council, and that all such deliberations of this Coundl and of any of its <br />Committees' that resulted in such formal action were in meetings open to the public in <br />compliance with all legal requirements. <br /> <br /> Section 3. That this ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure <br />necessary for the immediate preservation of the public peace, property, health, safety <br />an~l welfare in the City and for the usual daily operation of the City for the reasons set <br />forth and defined in the preamble to this ordinance, and provided it receives the <br />affirmative vote of at least five (5) of its members elected to Council, this ordinance <br />shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its adoption by the Council and <br />approval by the Mayor otherwise, it shall take effect and be in force after the earliest <br />period allowed by law. <br /> <br />Adopted: <br /> <br />PRESIDENT <br /> <br />Approved:~¢~'/¢' ~¢¢~ <br /> <br />MAYOR <br /> <br /> <br />
