RESOLUTION NO. 6662 - 91 BY: Boscia, Gallagher, Gazzana, George, Graham, Roth,~Smit~ AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION declaring the intent of the Council of the City of Lakewood to vacate a portion of the public right-of- way situated on Victoria Avenue, in the City of Lakewood, Ohio. WHEREAS, the City of Lakewood desires to vacate said por- tions of the public right-of-way, WHEREAS, this resolution constitutes an emergency measure providing for the immediate preservation of the public health, safety and welfare, and for the usual daily operation of a municipal depart- ment; now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVEDBY THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: Section 1. That the Council of the City of Lakewood hereby declares its intent to vacate a portions of the public right-of-way located on Victoria Avenue, said portions being further described as follows: SITUATED in the City of Lakewood, County of Cuya- hoga and State of Ohio and known as being part of Original Rockport Township, Section No. 22 and further described as follows: Beginning at a point in the southerly right-of-way line of Detroit Avenue (66 feet wide) at the northwesterly corner of a parcel of land conveyed to the Lakewood-Warren-Detroit Partnership, Ltd., recorded in Volume 84-6217, Page 23 of Cuyahoga County Records; Thence South 84 degrees 36' 10" West, along said southerly right-of-way line, 176.28 feet to a point of intersection with the easterly right-of- way line of Victoria Avenue (50 feet wide) and the principle place of beginning of the portion of right-of-way herein intended to be vacated; Course I: Thence South 0 degrees 17' 55" East, 465.18 feet to a point; Course II: Thence SOuth 89 degrees 30' 12" West, 50.00 feet to a point; Course III: Thence North 0 degrees 17' 55" West, 460.90 feet to a point in the southerly right-of- way line of Detroit Avenue; Course IV: Thence North 84 degrees 36' 10" East, 50.20 feet to a point and the principle place of beginning and containing 0.5315 acres of land as calculated and described in October, .1991, by Edward B. Dudley, III, P.S..6747 of North Coast Engineering and Surveying Co., Inc., based on a boundary survey prepared by Campbell and Associ- ates, Inc., and certified by Robert A. Dorner, P.S. 6943, be the same more or less but subject to all legal highways and eas.ements of record. Bearings are based on the centerline of Warren Road being North 03 degrees 22' 00" East as ap- pears on said boundary survey plan. 1
