RESOLUTION NO. <br /> <br />7325-98 BY: Corrigan, Flannery, George, <br /> Roth, Seelie, Skinde11, $~ith <br /> <br /> A Resolution commending M. ]. Neel for her contributions to the Lakewood <br />Country as immediate past Executive Director of the Lakewood Chamber of <br />Commerce. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, M. I. Neel has been a member of the Lakewood Chamber of <br />Commerce for sixteen (16) yem and has served as its President and then its <br />Executive Director/rom 1995 - 1998, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, under M. J.'s leadership, the Lakewood Chamber of Commen:e <br />has nearly doubled its membership and has been a valuable source of information <br />and support to the City of Lakewood, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, M. J. Neel has served on the boards of many Community service <br />org~ations in the Lakewood Char/table Assistance Corporation and the <br />Lakewood Hospital Women's Fair Committee, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it is only fitting and proper that the public service rendered by <br />M. J. Neel be given public cognizance and recognition; now, therefore, <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That this Council and the Mayor of the City of Lakewood extends <br />to M. J. Neel their appreciation and commendations and together with all the <br />cflizeus of 'Lakewood join in wishing her continued success in the future. <br /> <br /> Section 2. That the Clerk of Council be and she is hereby authorized and <br />directed to forward a certified copy of this Resolution to M. J. Neel, and that a copy <br />of this Resolution be spread upon the mlnntes of this meeting. <br /> <br />President <br /> <br /> <br />
