MINUTES OF THE COMMITTEE OF THE WHOLE <br /> November 2, 2020 <br /> Meeting held virtually <br /> Present: Councilmembers Bullock, Kepple, Litten, Neff, O'Malley, Rader <br /> Also Present: Planning Director Leininger, Law Director Corrigan, Fire Chief Dunphy <br /> Call to Order: 6:35 p.m. <br /> Approval of the minutes of the October 26, 2020 Committee of the Whole. <br /> A motion was made and seconded to approve the minutes of the October 26, 2020 Committee of <br /> the Whole. A roll call vote was conducted as follows: <br /> Yeas: Bullock, Litten, Neff, O'Malley, Rader <br /> Nays: none <br /> Absent: Kepple, Shachner <br /> Motion passed. Minutes approved. <br /> Communication from Lakewood Community Relations Advisory Commission regarding <br /> appointments to the Anti-Racism Task Force in response to a communication referred by <br /> Council on September 8, 2020. <br /> Communication from Lakewood Community Relations Advisory Commission regarding <br /> appointments to the Anti-Racism Task Force in response to a communication referred by <br /> Council on September 8, 2020. (Referred to COW 10119120) <br /> SUBSTITUTE RESOLUTION 2020-53 -A RESOLUTION to take effect immediately <br /> provided it receives the affirmative vote of at least two thirds of the members of Council, <br /> or otherwise to take effect and be in force after the earliest period allowed by law, <br /> appointing Angelina Steiner _William Yeung third <br /> appointee) (fourth appointee) and (fifth aointee) to the <br /> Anti-Racism Task Force. <br /> President O'Malley recapped that the committee had recommended two appointees at the last <br /> meeting and was taking time this week to review and consider the remaining three appointments. <br /> President O'Malley remarked that Lily Trimble's application stood out. He elaborated on her <br /> application and the reasons that she would fit well on the task force. Councilmember Neff agreed <br /> and noted Ms. Trimble's career in social work. <br /> 1 <br />
