MINUTES <br /> OF THE <br /> REGULAR MEETING <br /> OF <br /> LAKEWOOD CITY COUNCIL <br /> AUDITORIUM <br /> July 6, 2021 <br /> 7:30 P.M. <br /> Regular Meeting of the Lakewood City Council called to order at 7:44 PM by President <br /> O'Malley. <br /> Present: Thomas R. Bullock III, Sarah Kepple, John Litten, Tess Neff, Daniel O'Malley, <br /> Tristan Rader, Jason Shachner <br /> Also Present: Mayor George, Law Director Corrigan, Planning Director Leininger, Finance <br /> Director Rancatore, Police Chief Kaucheck, Fire Chief Dunphy, Engineer Papke, Human <br /> Resources Director Dillinger, Human Services Director Gelsomino, Chief of Staff John <br /> Storey, Deputy Clerk Lascu, Clerk Bach <br /> Motion by President O'Malley, seconded by Vice President Litten to approve the minutes of <br /> the June 21, 2021 meeting without the necessity of a reading. <br /> All members voted in favor. Motion passed. Minutes approved. <br /> ****OLD BUSINESS**** <br /> 1. Report from the Public Safety Committee regarding meeting held June 28, 2021. (pg. <br /> 001) <br /> Motion by Councilmember Neff, seconded by President O'Malley to receive and file the <br /> report. All members voted in favor. Motion passed. <br /> 2. RESOLUTION 2021-29 - A RESOLUTION to take effect immediately provided it <br /> receives the affirmative vote of at least five members of Council, or otherwise to take <br /> effect and be in force after the earliest period allowed by law, authorizing the Mayor as <br /> Director of Public Safety, or her designee, to enter into agreements to house prisoners <br /> from other jurisdictions where staffing of the Lakewood Jail and space permits. (Referred <br /> to Public Safety 617121) (pg. 003) <br /> Motion by President O'Malley, seconded by Vice President Litten to adopt Resolution 2021- <br /> 29. All members voted in favor. Motion passed. Resolution 2021-19 adopted. <br /> 1 <br />
