MINUTES <br /> OF THE <br /> REGULAR MEETING <br /> OF <br /> LAKEWOOD CITY COUNCIL <br /> AUDITORIUM <br /> September 19, 2022 <br /> 7:30 P.M. <br /> Regular Meeting of the Lakewood City Council called to order at 7:30 PM by President Litten <br /> Present: Kyle Baker, Thomas R. Bullock III, Sarah Kepple, John Litten, Cindy Marx, Tristan <br /> Rader, Jason Shachner <br /> Also Present: Mayor George, Finance Director Rancatore, Police Chief Kaucheck, Fire Chief <br /> Dunphy, Public Works Director Ducu, Human Resources Director Claudia Dillinger, Planning <br /> Director Shawn Leininger, Chief Assistant Law Director Swallow,Human Services Director Chad <br /> Berry, Chief of Staff John Storey, Clerk Bach <br /> Motion by President Litten, seconded by Vice President Kepple to approve the minutes of the <br /> September 6, 2022 General Meeting without the necessity of a reading. With President Litten <br /> abstaining, all other members voted in favor. Motion passed. Minutes approved. <br /> Motion by President Litten, seconded by Vice President Kepple to approve the minutes of the <br /> Special Meeting of Council held September 6, 2022 without the necessity of a reading. With <br /> President Litten abstaining, all other members voted in favor. Motion passed. Minutes approved. <br /> ****OLD BUSINESS**** <br /> Without objection, item 420 was moved to the top of the agenda. <br /> 1. Committee of the Whole Report regarding meetings held September 12, 2022. (to be <br /> provided) <br /> President Litten delivered the following oral report: <br /> Committee of the Whole met on the 12'and was joined by Mayor George and members <br /> of the administration to discuss the use of the city's American Rescue Plan Act dollars. To date <br /> the city has earmarked nearly $35 million of these funds for sewer infrastructure, emergency <br /> rent relief,public safety initiatives, revenue replacement, etc. The administration provided a <br /> status update on these projects and provided a 7 point plan for the allocation of the remaining <br /> $9 million in funds, leaving approximately $3 million for Council to wield its control over. The <br /> Committee and the administration had a robust discussion regarding each of the 7 proposed <br /> 1 <br />
