MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING OF LAKEWOOD CITY COUNCIL AUDITORIUM February 6, 2023 7:30 P.M. Regular Meeting of the Lakewood City Council called to order at 7:50 PM by Acting President Kepple Present: Kyle Baker, Thomas R. Bullock III, Sarah Kepple, Cindy Marx, Tristan Rader, Jason Shachner Also Present: Finance Director Rancatore, Police Chief Kaucheck, Public Works Director Gordon, Human Resources Director Dillinger, Assistant Director of Planning David Baas, Planning Director Shawn Leininger, Law Director Ernie Vargo, Human Services Director Chad Berry, Fire Chief Dunphy, Chief of Staff John Storey, Clerk Bach and Council staff Motion by Acting President Kepple, seconded by Councilmember Shachner to excuse the absence of President Litten. All in favor. Motion passed. ****OLD BUSINESS**** Without objection, Item 414 was moved to the top of the agenda. Without objection, following item 414,public comment was moved to the top of the agenda. 1. Report from Committee of the Whole held February 6, 2023. (to be provided) Acting President Kepple delivered the following oral report: Committee of the Whole met today, February 6, 2023, at 5:30. All members of the Committee were present except for Councilman Litten who joined us via Zoom. We had Consultant Tracy Nichols, representatives from CASTO and North Point Reality, and members of the Administration. We received a report from the Planning Department regarding changes to the Downtown Development, with the notable change that Roundstone has changed their commitment to the project. Council discussed some of what that would mean and received a report from the Planning Department going through some of the changes in the financials to Building A. We moved into executive session for the purposes of discussing financials related to the project. A motion to exit executive session was passed a little after 7:30. 1
