<br />MINUTES <br />OF A MEETING OF <br />LAKEWOOD CITY COUNCIL <br />AUDITORIUM <br />NOVEMBER 6, 2023 <br />Regular meeting of the Lakewood City Council called to order at 7:35 PM by President Litten <br />**** <br />Present: Councilmembers Marx, Shachner, Litten, Kepple, Bullock, Rader, Baker. <br />AlsoPresent: Mayor George,Planning DirectorLeininger, Fire Chief Dunphy, Human Services <br />Director Berry, Public Works Director Gordon, Police Chief Fischer, Law Director Vargo, Finance <br />Director Rancatore, and Council Staff. <br />**** <br />Motion by President Litten, seconded by Vice President Kepple, to approve the minutes of the <br />October 16, 2023 General Meeting withoutthenecessity of a reading. All in favor. Motion passed. <br />Without objection, President Litten moved item 28 to the top of the agenda. <br />***OLD BUSINESS*** <br />1.Report from Housing, Planning & Development Committee regarding meetingheld <br />October 23, 2023. (pg. 1) <br />Motion by President Litten, seconded by Vice President Kepple, to receive and file the oral <br />report. All in favor. Motion passed. <br />2.S. ORDINANCE 20-2023 - AN ORDINANCE to take effect immediately provided it <br />receives the affirmative vote of at least two thirds of the members of Council, or <br />otherwise to take effect and be in force after the earliest period allowed by law, <br />authorizing and directing the Director of Planning and Development or the Mayor to <br />enter into an agreement with a licensed real estate broker to market for sale various real <br />st <br />properties, pursuant toSection 155.07 of the Codified Ordinances.(1 read & referred <br />nd <br />to HPD 9/18/23; 2 reading 10/2/23) (pg. 2) <br />Motion by President Litten, seconded by Vice President Kepple, to substitute Ordinance 20- <br />2023. A roll call vote was conducted as follows: <br />Yea: Baker, Bullock, Kepple, Marx, Litten, Rader, Shachner <br />Nays: none <br />Motion adopted. Ordinance 20-2023 substituted. <br />1 <br /> <br />
