ORDINANCE N0. 84-6 <br />INTRODUG~ED BY: Mayor Carmen and Council <br />AN ORDINANCE DETERMINING TO PROCEED <br />WITH THE IMPROVEMENT OF BEECH HILL <br />ROAD BY HAVING IT RECONSTRUCTED AND <br />PAV ED AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, this Council did duly adopt Resolution No. 83-7 <br />declaring therein the necessity of improving Beech Hill Road by having <br />it reconstructed and paved; and <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said Resolution, estimated assessments <br />with respect to the said improvement were duly prepared and placed on <br />file in the office of the Clerk of this Council; and <br />WHEREAS, one or more objections to said estimated assess- <br />ments having been filed, this Council did, by Resolution No. 83-12, <br />passed on May 16, 1983, duly appoint an Assessmente Equalization Board <br />to hear and determine such objections and to equalize the said assess- <br />ments; and <br />WHEREAS, said Assessment Equalization Board has heard and <br />determined all such objections, has equalized said assessments and has. <br />submitted its report and recommendations to this Council on September <br />19, 1983; and <br />WHEREAS, this Council did duly adopt Resolution No. 84-5 on <br />January 16, 1984, approving the report and recommendations of the said <br />Assessment Equalization Board; now, therefore, <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF MAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, THAT: <br />Section 1. It is hereby determined to proceed with the <br />improvement of Beech Hill Road by having it reconstructed and paved in <br />accordance with the provisions of Resolution No. 83-7 and in accord- <br />ance with the plans, specifications, and the estimate of cost for said <br />improvement heretofore approved and filed in the office of the Clerk <br />of Council. _ <br />Section 2. 'The estimated assessments of the cost of said <br />improvement heretofore prepared and filed in the office of the Clerk <br />and is equalized by the Assessment Equalization Board hereinabove <br />referred to are hereby approved and adopted. <br />Section 3 It is further determined that the portion of <br />the said improvement to be assessed against benefitted property owners <br />shall be assessed in the amount, manner and number of installments as <br />provided for in said Resolution No. 83-7. <br />~..~~- <br />
