A MEMO FRONI: MAYFIELD VILLAGE COUNCIL <br />TO: ALL DEPARTMENT HEADS, STAFF MEMBERS AND EMPLOYEES <br />To eliminate any possible confusion during Mayor Beebe's <br />vacation, council calls to your attention Article IV, Section <br />Seven of the Charter of Mayfield Village, Ohio, which reads <br />in part, <br />"Whew the Mayan tiz ubsent ?nom the munietipa2ity, an <br />6on any neazan tiz unab2e ta pet?vnm htiz dutties az <br />Mayan, the Pneaident a6 Cauncit zhutt becvme the <br />acting Mayan, and whtite sv actting .6hatt huve and <br />exencize att a? the pawenz o? the Maym." <br />Accordingly, Michael Spellman is now the Acting Mayor. <br />Any matters which would normally be cleared by you through the <br />Mayor or otherwise reported to the Mayor will also be handled <br />by Mr. Spellman. He will, of course, periodically update the <br />Mayor onthe progress of Municipal matters. <br />Your complete cooperation with the Acting Mayor is <br />expected in order to assure the requirements of the charter <br />and..facilitate the handling of important municipal matters. <br />Any previous contrary instructions you may have received <br />should be disregarded. <br />PASSED : OCtOb21" 7, 1982 <br />, ? <br />ATTEST • " '111 <br />Eloise Maynard, erk of Council
