TRAVEL ALLOWANCE AND CONFERENCE EXPENSE Twenty-five cents (25~) per mile is hereby allowed to reimburse employees of the City who are required to make trips on City business in their own automobiles, other than transportation to and from work, to be paid from the Treasury upon approval of the Mayor and the Director of Finance. Any elected or appointed municipal officer, deputy, or assistant, or an employee of the Municipal Corporation, may attend, at the expense of the Municipal Corporation, any conference or convention relating to municipal affairs if authorized by the Mayor and the Department Head, and if the fiscal officer of the municipal corpora- tion certifies that funds are appropriated and available for such purpose. Such person shall be reimbursed for meals and lodging. Section 1'2 .~` OPEN• MEETING' COMPLIANCE That it is found and determined that all formal actions of this Council and of any of its committees that resulted in such formal action, were in meetings open to the public, in compliance with all legal requirements including Section 121.22 of the Ohio Revised Code. Section 13. EMERGENCY This Ordinance is hereby deemed to be an emergency measure necessary for the immediate preservation of the public peace, health, safety and welfare of the Village of Mayfield and its inhabitants, in order to provide reasonable compensation for the services rendered by employees of the municipality, and this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after the date of its passage.
