M.V. ORDINANCE N0. 81-21 <br />Page -8- <br />Section 11. TRAVEL ALLOWANCE AND CONFERENCE EXPENSE <br />Twenty-five cents (25~) per mile is hereby allowed to reimburse <br />employees of the City who are required to make trips on City business <br />in their own automobiles, other than transportation to and from work, <br />to be paid from the Treasury upon approval of the Mayor and the <br />Director of Finance. <br />Any elected or appointed municipal officer, deputy, or assistant, <br />or an employee of the Municipal Corporation, may attend, at the <br />expense of the Municipal Corporation, any conference or convention <br />relating to municipal affairs if authorized by the Mayor and the <br />Department Head, and if the fiscal officer of the municipal corpora- <br />tion certifies that funds are appropriated and available for such <br />purpose. Such person shall be reimbursed for meals and lodging. <br />Section 1'2 .~` OPEN• MEETING' COMPLIANCE <br /> <br />That it is found and determined that all formal actions of this <br />Council and of any of its committees that resulted in such formal <br />action, were in meetings open to the public, in compliance with all <br />legal requirements including Section 121.22 of the Ohio Revised Code. <br />Section 13. EMERGENCY <br />This Ordinance is hereby deemed to be an emergency measure necessary <br />for the immediate preservation of the public peace, health, safety <br />and welfare of the Village of Mayfield and its inhabitants, in order <br />to provide reasonable compensation for the services rendered by <br />employees of the municipality, and this Ordinance shall be in full <br />force and effect from and after the date of its passage. <br />A an G.
