AGREEMENT <br />THIS AGREEMENT is made and entered into this 2~sta day <br />of January <br />1980, by and between HAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, <br />and the of <br />W I T N E S S E T H: <br />OHIO. <br />WHEREAS, Section 717.02 and 717.021 of the Revised Code <br />of Ohio authorize any municipal corporation, in order to obtain addtional <br />fire protection, to enter into contracts for the services of the <br />Fire Department or the use of Fire Department equipment within the <br />territories of the contracting municipalities; and <br />WHEREAS, it is the desire of these contracting municipalities <br />to provide for mutual assistance and the interchange and use of <br />Fire Department equipment and personnel in cases of emergency within <br />the territories of the contracting municipalities; and <br />WHEREAS, in order to best protect the safety of human <br />life as well as the property of our residents, it is extremely <br />important to the contracting municipalities to provide expedient <br />and complete fulfillment of this mutual aid agreement as an integral <br />part of the contracting municipalities' overall programs of fire <br />protection; and sure and complete implementation of this Agreement is <br />particularly necessary where one of the contracting parties has <br />Exhibit "A" <br />
