The Recreation Board shall be provided with a <br />Coordinator whose purpose is to advise and <br />manage what activities the board deems necessary. <br />Sec. 2. The Coordinator shall serve with compensation as <br />a City employee. <br />ARTICLE VIII.COMMITTEES <br />Sec. 1. Each Committee shall provide a Finance Director <br />to requisition supplies, but only after clearance <br />from the Board shall the said Finance Director <br />have the authority to-purchase requested supplies. <br />Sec. 2. Each Committee shall be responsible for equipment <br />pertaining to that activity and shall be responsible <br />for Maintenance of facilities. <br /> <br />ARTICLE IX. VOTING <br />Sec. 1. Only the Recreation Board shall have the power to <br />vote on any function or activity. Questions and/ <br />or ideas concerning any activity must be brought <br />before the Board by Citizens of the Village at <br />monthly meetings. <br />Sec. 2. A minimum of z those members appointed to the <br />Board shall constitute a quorum to due business. <br />ARTICLE X. BUDGET <br />Sec. 1. The annual budget shall be set up by the Recreation <br />Board for the forthcoming year and shall be submitted <br />to Council one (1) month prior to the Council <br />budget meeting. Further, each committee shall pre- <br />. sent to the Director an estimated budget for their <br />activity no later than six (6) weeks prior to <br />the annual budget meeting of Council. <br />Sec. 2. Any funds raised by any activity shall become the <br />property of the Recreation Board and any said <br />balance after expenditures shall become the property <br />of Mayfield Village held in escrow for the Board's <br />later use. <br />Sec. 3. No Fund raising activity shall take place without <br />the .prior majority vote of the Recreation Board. <br />ARTICLE XI. AMENDMENTS <br />Sec. 1. Amendments to any or all of these rules must be <br />submitted to Council for approval. <br />ARTICLE XII. INTERPRETATION AND ADOPTION <br />Sec. 1. These Standing Rules shall be interpreted liberally <br />in favour of the Village and the Recreation Board. <br />Sec. 2, All members holding office at the time of adoption <br />shall continue to serve their respective terms. <br />Seco 3. These Standing Rules supersede any and all other <br />previous Standing Rules and shall take effect <br />immediately upon adoption. <br />Sec. -4. These Standing Rules sYiall be considered ,ratified <br />and adopted after all respective parties have <br />been given a favourable opportunity to examine all <br />Articles and Sections; and after an affirmative <br />Vote by simple majority of Council. <br /> <br />
