ORDINANCE NO. 80-47 Page -6- (c ): Comp'ens'ation for Holidays Worked. If a full-time employee works on one of the above-designated holidays, he shall receive two C2) times his regular rate of pay for that day and in addition, shall be entitled to another day off with his regular rate of pay, the day to be selected by his administrative superior. 'S'ec'tion 7. Hospitalization and Medical Coverage (a )_ Effective July 1, 1980 the municipality shall pay the premiums for employees insured under the present contract of hospitali- zation and medical coverage, including dental coverage, if applicable, currently maintained by the municipality with the Prudential Insurance Company of America. The premium to be paid shall be at the rate estab- lished for the "High Level Benefit Plan". (b) Employees of the municipality not presently;:,insured under the existing "~Iiigh Level Benefit Plan" and new employees of the municipality may join the plan at such intervals as may be authorized by the municipality's medical. insurance carrier, subject to the approval. of the Mayor and Finance Director. Section 8. Overtime. Overtime will be paid in accordance with the Fair Labor Standards Act, as amended. Section 9:. Repeal. Effective July 1, 1980 Ordinance No. 79--9.3 is hereby repealed. S'ect'i'ori 10. Emergency. This ordinance is hereby deemed to be an emergency measure necessary for the immediate preservation of the pub~li:c peace, health, safety and welfare of the Village of Mayfield and its nhab~tants•, in order to provide reasonable compensation for the. services~reridered by employees of the municipality, and this ordinance shall, be in full force and effect from and after the date of its passage.
