The above schedule of fees shat cover engineering services including preliminary estimates:and reports, complete detailed plans .and speci- t'ications .and detailed estimates of cost;, gene?~.al suer"vision of construction, including line and grade surveys, preparation of monthZy:and_ final estimates for contractor9s payments, The above: schedule of fees does not in~elude property, boundary ar right of ~~ay surveys;: inspection of construction; shop, mi71, field or laboratory inspection of materials;. cost of test borings or other sub-surface explorations; or calculations of special assessments. These latter services may be provided bar the Engineer on ~. per diem basis in accordance with the schedule of rates hereinafter set forth. Section lI.
