Form v-6/3/x+6 _ <br />Ordinance No. ~-$. ~, <br />By Mr . ~lr'_~ ~ ~. <br />AN ORDINANCE FIXING THE I~•1AXIMUM RATES FOR ELECTRICITY II~T THE <br />VILLAGE OF NIAYFIELD, OHIO, <br />FOR A PERIOD OF TWO YEARS AFTER THE EXPIRATION OF ORDINANCE <br />;~ N0. 228 <br />WHIlIEAS, on July 17, <br />passed Ordinance No. 22~ <br />in the Village of Mayfield, Ohio, <br />years, and providing for uniform rates <br />in Ordinance Tdo. 338-~~- passed May 2z, <br />was accepted by The Cleveland Electric <br />and <br />19~F this Council <br />fixing the maximum rates for electricity <br />for a period of two <br />with those fixed by the City of Cleveland <br />l~~~F, which ordinance of this Council <br />Illuminating Company on July 25, lo~F ; <br />WHEREAS, the lawful rates for electricity in the City of Cleveland <br />for said two year period have not yet been determined, and the appeal of The <br />Cleveland Electric Illuminating Company from said Ordinance No. 338-~~, is <br />now pending before The Public Utilities Commission of Ohio in Case No. 1z60T+; <br />a,nd <br />WHEREAS, on May 27, 19+6, the Council of the City of Cleveland passed <br />Ordinance No. 1133-~+6 fixing the same rates for electricity as those fixed in <br />said Ordinance No. 338-T+~+, to cover the period of two .years from July 7, 19+6; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, The Cleveland Electric Illuminating Company proposes to file <br />an appeal with The Public Utilities Commission of Ohio from said Ordinance No. <br />1133-~+6 ; and <br />WHEREAS, it is in the public interest that ra..tes for electricity in <br />the Village of Mayfield, Ohio, be uniform with those <br />in the City of Cleveland rioting the period of ttvo years after the expiration <br />of Ordinance No, 22~ of.this Council. <br />BE IT ORBAINED BY THE COUidCIL OF THE vLLAGE OF MAFFIET,D, <br />STATE OF OHIO: <br />Section 1. That subject to the provisions of Section 2 of this <br />ordinance, any person, firm or corporation supplying electricity for resi- <br />dential or general commercial use (both as hereinafter defined and provided) <br />in the Village of Mayfield , Ohio, shall, <br />from and after the time when this ordinance shall take effect, and for a <br />period of tlhTo years thereafter, charge for electricity, except for special <br />service where the use of electricity is intermittent or the load is of <br />fluctuating character and t~rhere a special service connection is required, and <br />except for emergency service or for reserve service to another source of <br />supply, not to exceed the fo1lo~~iing rate, to ~~~it: <br />Residential - Applicable to a residential installation in a single <br />family house, a single suite in ~. multiple family house, or a. single suite <br />in a. multip le family apaxtmentq Any combination on one meter of two or more <br />residential installations on the same premises, or any combination on one <br />meter of residenti~.l end eommerci~.l installations on the same premises shall <br />be c1_assified as commercial® <br />
