S¢ <br />For all excess over 2500 k.w.h. per month per k. w. h. 1.5¢ <br />Minimum charge - 60¢ per month per installation. <br />The term "demand" as used herein means the kilowatt demand determined <br />monthly by demand measurements and shall be the average of the weekly maximum <br />one hour kilowatt demands during the month. <br />Section 2. If and whenever, during the effective period of this <br />ordinance, said The Cleveland Electric Illuminating Company shall collect <br />lawfully effective charges for electric service furnished in the City of <br />Cleveland, Ohio, for the classes of service defined in Section 1 hereof, <br />under a schedule of rates for either of said classes of service, different , <br />from the schedules of rates fixed in Section 1 hereof (whether such difference <br />be or include an increase or decrease in rates or charges, a change of rate <br />brackets, a change in classification or any ether change of schedule provi- <br />sions), then such different schedule or schedules of rates so charged in the <br />City of Cleveland shall, to the extent applicable to the types of service <br />regulated hereby, be substituted for the schedule or schedules of rates fixed <br />in Section 1 hereof, and thereafter shall constitute the lawfully effective <br />charges in the Village of Mayfield, Ohio ; provided, <br />hot~rever, if said schedule or schedules of rates charged for either or both of <br />said classes of service in the City of Cleveland during the effective period <br />of this ordinance shall be changed retroactively by final determination of <br />lawful authority or by agreement between the City of Cleveland and The Cleveland <br />Electric Illuminating Company, the same retroactive change shall be made in the <br />rates established hereunder, but only within the effective period of this <br />ordinance, and if such change requires refunds to consumers of any public <br />utility accepting this ordinance, such refunds shall thereupon be made by such <br />public utility, at the time and in the manner prescribed in said final deter- <br />mination or in said agreement with respect to refunds to consumers in the City <br />of Cleveland, or if not se prescribed, by cash or credit within 60 days after <br />the date of such final determination or of said agreement. <br />J <br />Section 3. That such person, firm or corporation shall furnish <br />and keep in repair meters for the measurement of electricity so consumed <br />without making any separate charge for the use or rep air of them. <br />Section ~® That the acceptance of this ordinance by any person, <br />firm or corporation supplying electricity to the Village of Mayfield <br />and to its inhabitants by filing a written acceptance ~oith the Clerk of this <br />Village urithin 10 days after this ordinance shall take effect, shall con- <br />stitute a valid and binding contract and such person$ firm or corporation <br />shall not be required to furnish electricity at a less rate during the period <br />of time herein fixed. <br />
